Normally around 3-3:30 p.m. I get the craving for sweets. It happens between that time frame, every single day. When I opened the drawer at my desk to realize I was out of my goodies there was nothing left to say except, “Crap!” I started my scavenger hunt around our office and it was my friend Shannon who introduced me to yogurt covered pretzels. I should be more specific – Blueberry Yogurt covered pretzels. They were to.die.for. Honestly, it was the most amazing afternoon treat I’ve had in a long time. She found these at a grocery store near our office called Grawl’s. But I’m sure you could find that at Whole Foods, Trader Joes, maybe even a farmers market.
As I started researching more about these tasty little treats, I found a brand (Mills Fleet Farm) who makes a variety of flavors: Cherry, Cinnamon, Raspberry to name a few.
I haven’t looked into it yet, but I’m sure there’s a way you could make these at home and save a few bucks. While I research that (I’ll post how to once I find a good recipe and have a successful trial), run out to your local market and pick some up. There absolutely delicious and perfect for an afternoon snack!
